Weekend in Breck

We woke up on Sunday morning, before Labor Day, and decided that it would be fun to go on a trip...within a couple of hours, we were packed and ready to head to the mountains. I was so glad we went because I was spending too much time obsessing about our house remodel and worrying about stuff that I had no control over, so getting away was the perfect medicine. The kids loved it! They got to do the alpine slide, the Zipline, the bungee trampoline and kids rope course. It was so fun to watch them be kids, and make a fun memory as a family. Four weeks later, Ryder is still wearing his day pass bracelet. I almost cut it off the other day when he shouted, "No! It helps me remember riding the roller coaster with you!" I wouldn't dream of touching it now! He may graduate from college with that nasty thing, but if it reminds him of this special trip, I'm all for it!
