Can't Beat em, Join em!
Day One of Montana Trip: Ted and I left for Montana early on Friday morning, in hopes to escape the city life. We had been dreaming about this trip for a year…hiking, biking, fly-fishing and white water rafting…the beautiful day had arrived. After a day in the air, we finally arrived at the Missoula airport where Ted’s parents were waiting. The only hangup was that our hotel was located on the other side of the city…on the other side of the street parade. After circling the town, looking for an open road, we asked for some assistance. The parade official sensed our frustration and reluctantly waved us over. He then directed us toward a line of old classic cars. We carefully filed in between the cars and headed down the road. Seconds later, we realized that we had successfully entered the parade line. Crowds of people lined the streets, admiring the old cars. Mary Jo and I couldn’t stop laughing as we watched their puzzled faces follow the Toyota Highlander. Hey, if you can’t beat em, join em!
