OUCH!!

Day Three of Montana Trip: This was the day that Mary Jo and I went on a long horse back riding trip. I have forgotten what it was like to ride a horse. The last time I rode one was back in high school. I didn’t remember the way that your bottom bone slams against the horse’s spine, or the way that your lower back works to keep your body upright...my body was not responding the same way that it did when I was 17, but the ride was still beautiful. I just loved our guide. She named her ranch Dunrovin because after many years of travel, she found Montana and decided that she was “done roving.” I thought that was cute. Her horse ranch looked like something out of the movies, or a southern living magazine. It was picturesque with a garden, horse barn, corral, wide fields and surrounding mountains…I wanted to be “done roving” too.
