.) The Morning Snuggle - Some mornings, when we don't have to be anywhere, Finney will wake up early, tired of being in her crib. I will pick her up and carry her to my bed, and fall back asleep with her snuggled up against me. There is something undescribably sweet about waking up to a snuggling baby.
.) The Standing Expression - We like to hold her up and give her the opportunity to try out her legs. She always looks up at me with big wide eyes and an open mouth, as if she wants to say, "Can you believe I'm such a stud?"

.) The Confused "V" - Finney tends to look confused the majority of the time. It's such a cute expression. Why the Confused "V"? The picture explains it all:
.) Learning to Talk - Lately, Finney has been experimenting with her voice. Whenever she decides to test it out, she opens up her mouth really wide, and with a very serious expression lets out a long flat note. Ted and I just stare at her when she does that because it is the cutest thing we've seen.
.) Fistfull - She really likes to chew on her hands, and several times I've caught her with her entire fist in her mouth. Whenever she does this, her eyes get really wide, and she looks right up at me as if I am forcing her to do it.

.) Soft Cheeks - When I rock Finney to sleep at night, she wraps her arms around my neck and puts her face up against mine. I love it because I know she trusts me...and her cheeks are so soft.
.) Loving Her Reflection - Like most babies, Finney loves to look at herself in the mirror. It's so funny how she can be balling her eyes out, then I will take her to a mirror and she will quickly stop to enjoy her reflection. Hey, I would feel the same way if I was that cute!
.) Big Smiles - Finney has really started smiling a lot lately. Of course, our hearts melt everytime she does. I love it when she smiles so big that her nose wrinkles up.
.) The Poop Face - Not too many people are cute when they poop, but she is! Watching her poop is better than watching the Super Bowl! She puckers her lips up, grunts, and then pushes her lips together...the magic push. It's amazing too how much noise this little girl can make. Ted and I are such middle schoolers because we laugh everytime.
