The End of the Rainbow

We went from the pit to paradise, or 'the little town at the end of the rainbow' as my mother-in-law likes to call it. We are in Cabo right now. All of us healthy and happy...it's a blessed day. I really never thought I would take a vacation like this. I remember when I lived in Florida, we would walk into big luxury hotels along the coast, and wonder what it would be like to sunbath beside those big blue pools with the ocean shimmering in the background. Must be nice to be rich and famous.

Well, we aren't rich and famous, but the place where we are staying is pretty luxurous. I feel like a movie star walking around on the marble floors with my white rob on. Finley loves it here because she gets so much attention from her family. She loves to show off all of her tricks (waving, clapping, shaking her head and sticking out her tongue), and we are all completely entertained by it. Yesterday, Papou held her in his lap with his shirt off, and she began to pinch his nipples. Now, she is totally fascinated with chests. When a new person holds her, she pats around (maybe looking for milk). It's a little uncomfortable for some.

So far, this has really proven to be a town at the end of the rainbow. It feels a little dreamlike with it's simple unassuming culture, clean architecture, and beautiful scenery. I feel so blessed to get this experience and glad that we have several more days to come.

Hi Sweet Pea! Your photos are super fantastic! Wish I was there! So glad you were able to go and OH SO glad Finley is well! Hallelujah! I am so grateful to God for His healing hand and His ever faithful watchcare over His loved ones. We are so blessed. Tell everyone in Cabo "Hi!" for us. LU, Mama
