Daley's Butterfly Party

We celebrated this little girl's third birthday with a butterfly party. So fun to watch her and her friends run around with wings and antennas. Daley is a special gift. She's super independent. She wants to get her own meals, brush her own teeth, pick her own clothes, and walk home from any location (eek).  You can't take your eyes off of her, because she also has a knack for getting into trouble...like when she sprays cleaning solution all over the bathroom, rubs vapor rub all over my bed, pours cereal all over the dinning room table, and pees, oh man, she pees just about everywhere. She's a cute little mess though. Its hard to get mad at that sweet little face with her sparkly blue eyes. I know God is knitting a very special personality in her. She has this toughness that none of my other kids have. If you mess with her, you get the mean face...she transforms into some super ninja/power ranger fighting kid. One day, the young kid that lives next door stepped out front to play with his light saber. Daley ran out the front door, pretended to strap some kind of weapon on, and headed his direction with a scowl on her face. Even with her tough demeanor, she has this sweet little heart that loves to snuggle and LOVES her family. I'm so thankful for her and the 3 years that I've been given to watch her grow and begin to spread her wings.
