Conversations in our home

Just a few conversations that I HAD to record:

Me: "Ryder, do you want to pray?"
R: "But, I don't know how to pray..."
Fin: "Sure you do, it's like talking to your best friend. Like you could say, 'Hey God, do you wanna come over for a play date tomorrow or something?'"

Ryder: "Mom, Daley says I'm the best brother in the whole world..."
Me: "Because you ARE!"
Daley: "Yeah, I like you better than my Elsa socks!"

Me: "Daley, your wubby smells like pee, so we need to wash it tonight...will that be ok?"
Daley: "Oh...yeah, it does..." Sad face, teary eyes
Me: "Maybe Ryder will let you borrow his for the night."
Fin: "She can borrow mine!"
Me: "Ahhh, thanks Fin! Daley, you have the best sister in the world!"
Daley: "I know!" Lots of hugs and kisses
Me: "Now, remember that tomorrow morning we don't get to watch cartoons because Fin made a bad decision today and is grounded from screen time..."
Fin downcast, teary eyes
Daley: "Do you need a hug?"
Fin" "Yes..." hugs
Daley: "I'm sad too about my wubby..."
The two bonding over tears and sad faces
Fin: "Hey Daley, if you feel like you need to go pee pee tonight, and you want to do it in your pants...could you move my wubby aside?"  Lots of smiles and laughter
